My friend Joan and I headed to the art museum at UCONN today for a special exhibition of dressed from the 1800s...it was beautiful!

This didn't come out quite like I expected...I was trying to take a picture of the expansive pastures but this pole ended up being there! I was pulled over on a bad curve though and didn't want to stay there any longer than I had to!

something about this stone wall fascinates me...it runs for about a 1/2 mile along one of the roads near my house.

I had to stop at UCONN this afternoon to pick up some basketball tickets my mom had on hold. They have a lot of really cool old barns and this one caught my eye today.
