Tonight I went with my friends Betty and Charlotte to a local shopping vlllage that they light up with luminaries for one night. We enjoyed a nice dinner and then went shopping. It was really cold so I only took this one picture of the trees lit up near my car.

Tucker and I had a chance to go to a UConn game tonight. this is him being silly with Gregory, my mom's friend's grandson (you can see her on the other side of Gregory). Gregory is 2 years older than Tucker and we try to get them together whenever we can!

Usually when I stop to take pictures of these llamas, they look up but I guess they must have been pretty hungry because they didn't even glance at me!

Today was the first day that it was cold enough to believe that winter is really coming! BRRRRR!

We went to the Lego Kids Fest today with Tucker's friend Andrew and his family. They had these bins of Legos all over for the kids to build there and we couldn't even imagine how many Legos there were!

I drive by this old barn every day and I love it. I've been trying to figure out a way to take a picture of it without actually trespassing because it sits back aways from the road. I pulled over today and tried to get and this is what I came up with...I kind of like how the vines look in the foreground. I'll keep trying!

When i pulled over to take a picture of this cow, he/she walked right over and then when I put the camera down, she walked away! Like she was saying, "well if that's all you wanted!"

As the weather gets colder, the days start later. Whereas I used to leave well after the sun came up, now I'm halfway to work still in the dark! This is what the sun looked like coming through the trees this morning.

I drive by this pasture every day when I pick up Tucker from daycare. You can't see it in this picture but ther's a great pond in front of the trees. Sometimes there are cows grazing in the grass..

On the way to my mom's today, one of the towns I drove through had a scarecrow contest set up on the green so I stopped to check it out! This one is for a local daycare and I thought it was pretty cute! You can't really see but they all have crowns on!

We had a carnival at Tucker's school today and he had a great time on the inflatables with his friend Andrew! I liked this shot because you can see that Tucker's actually in the air!

We are officially back on-line and I'm trying to get back into the swing of things!

Today was me and Michael's 12th wedding anniversary and we celebrated by going to a corn maze with Tucker and then dinner later! We were determined to finish this year but after two hours we had only found 14/16 so he gave up! It was a lot of fun, though and a gorgeous fall day!

Tucker went fishing for the first time today with Michael and my mom's friend's husband Ed. Here Tucker and Ed pose with Tucker's catch of the day-he describes it as "an 8 lb-er"!!

Tonight we went to the Waterford Speedbowl for Wild and Wacky Wednesday. We met Tucker's friend Andrew and his mom Tracy there and had a GREAT time!

Tonight we went to Cruise Night at one of the local beaches. Basically they line up the classic cars and you walk around and check them out! They play music from the 50s and 60s and it's a lot of fun! (Also parking is FREE!!) We might go in the future just to play on the beach!

Michael and Tucker went to a Yankees game today and had a great time!

We went to Buttonwood Farm today to check out the sunflowers. Every year they plant 15 acres of sunflowers to raise money for Make-a-Wish. They have a hay ride and sell bunches of sunflowers for $5. Oh and of course, they have unbelievable ice cream!

tucker and I went to my mom's this afternoon to swim and got there in time for the cats' dinner! These are four of her 12 enjoying their meal, starting from the left (gray cat) and going clock-wise: Jake, Spot, Wally, and Tigger.

The residents love to fill the bird feeders in the courtyard. By the time I come in at 7:30 every morning, this chubby little rascal has flipped the feeder and is enjoying a nice breakfast. Today I actually got a picture of him-caught!

I had a dentist appointment this morning and then stopped to get a snadwich for lunch. This is the back of the Windham Town Hall. I thought it looked intersting from this angle.

Tucker's been enjoying his swim lessons this summer! It's been especially nice this summer because we've been having such HOT weather! As Tucker said the other night after lessons, "That was refreshing!"

When we left Tucker's swim class tonight, the sky looked pretty threatening! Unfortuantely it didn't amount to anything and I think it's more humid now (if that's even possible!)

We have a big bush of these flowers in our yard. I also remember having a few of these bushes in our yard growing up.

We set off the fireworks Doreen gave Michael for Father's Day last night---they were actually pretty cool!

We celebrated the 4th of July by going to a parade! The parade started off, appropriately, with men in uniform...

Tucker and I went to free fireworks at a minor league baseball stadium tonight!
It was a lot of fun and the fireworks were awesome!
