When I came home tonight, there was a rain/snow mixture falling from the sky. This what our yard looked like!

Tonight was the first Family Literacy Night at Tucker's school. Because he participated in (and finished) the Reading Hall of Fame, he got a free book. Here he colors bookmarks with his friend Andrew. They also had some authors speaking and you could get your picture taken with a knight (the theme of the reading program this year is Knights of the Reading Table)

Today was Tucker's first baseball practice-he's moved up to Minors this year! We of course got to the field early and he took a few warm-up swings while he waited for practice to start!

Tucker's birthday is on Sunday and he received a package today from my Aunt Donna who lives in SC. He got a t-shirt, a pair of shorts, walkie-talkies and a color explosion pad.

He's actually happy about his presents even though he doesn't look it here!

We celebrated my birthday today at my mom's house. (yes we were only 2 1/2 months late!)

On my way to work this morning, I spotted all these turkeys, probably about 15-20 crossing the street into the woods!

Yes it is March 24th which means the last time I checked, it is SPRING! But here in Southeastern CT, we woke up to 2-3 inches of the WHITE STUFF and Tucker had a 2 hr delay!!!!

Another beautiful church that I drive by everyday. someday I need to take a close-up of the windows...the stained lass is gorgeous!

My friend Heather and I spent the day at a PTO Expo in MA today and had a great time looking at all the booths and sampling all the goodies. I think we got a lot of really great ideas. These are the bags they gave us and when I tell you it probably weighs more than 20 lbs., I'm not exaggerating!

I like to take different routes to work every once in awhile. I came around the corner and there was this big bright red barn and I had to stop to take a picture!

These ducks were taken advantage of a flooded corner of a cornfield. It was also POURING so they're pretty hardy, too!

We went to see Rango tonight---it was pretty cute! Tucker always enjoys playing the crane game in the lobby. He looks sad here but he's just concentrating!

It was one of those cold, crisp winter days today...where the sky is a perfect shade of blue and it feels so great to be outside.

Michael found the cymbals to the Wii rock Band at a tag sale for $5. We just had to buy a wire for it. Michael was able to hook it up and Tucker had a great time trying it out for the first time!
