Another night out with Dawn-this time without the boys! We met at a local restaurant with Maria (I work with her; we all grew up together). Maria somehow managed to avoid the pictures!!

My friend Dawn is visiting from VA. Tucker and I met her and her son Caleb (who is 3) at the 99 tonight. This is a silly picture of the boys1

I looked out the window tonight and noticed Tucker and Felix in the yard and thought they looked really sweet!

Fianlly!!! My Tiger Lilies opened! It seemed like everyone else's had blosoomed but mine! I love this time of year when you just see patches of them everywhere!

Tucker and I got Michael a hammock for Father's Day. Michael put it up and they tried it out!

Tucker got his summer crew cut today and we went to my mom's to check out the pumpkins he planted with her neighbor. He was being all goofy so I told him to stand up straight and he just got goofier! (His pumpkins are the ones on his left-they look pretty good!)

Today was the last day of school! Tucker is now a thrid grader! This year we had a big Family Picnic and the kids had a great time with a rock wall and DJ. Here Tucker dances with his good friend Maddie to YMCA.

When I was leaving for work this morning, I noticed the sun coming through the trees. I thought it was pretty cool!

Today was the Poet's Breakfast in Tucker's class where each kid read poems they had written and we had a little breakfast "treat". This is Tucker's 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Holmes whom we have absolutely loved!

Tucker had tryouts today for the town soccer U10 (under-10) travel team. (he's in the red shirt). He was a little nervous but I think he did pretty good! One more day of try-outs tomorrow.

I took a different route to work today and discovered this old barn on an abandoned property.

I noticed this farm equipment in the field of one of the farms I pass on my way to work! They're getting ready to hay the field.

Yet another flower I don't know the name of...we transplanted these from my daycare lady's yard (she doesn't know the name either!). I just think they're pretty and they are spreading through one of our flower gardens.

I don't remember what this flower is called, maybe a clematis?. But it grows on our side fence and always looks so pretty when it blooms.

Our area was under a tornado warning for most of today. Fortunately, we didn't get any, just some rumbles of thunder and heavy rain. I took this outside on the deck after the rain stopped and the sun came out.

Tucker and I went to the Providence Children's Museum today and he had a great time playing with this air machine-you put the rag in and it went through a series of tubes depending on how you moved the levers and then popped out!

June 4

My mom's friend had extra tickets to a WNBA game between the CT Sun and New York Liberty at the casino here in town (the other one's the next town over). Tucker and I got the extra tickets--11 rows up from the court, center court! It was an awesome game!

Another humid day, expecting thunderstorms...the clouds were actually a lot darker than they appear in this picture; I liked how the "stripe" of white clouds looked, too!

I was off from work today to tend to say MD appts, errands, etc. Thunderstorms had been threatening all afternoon and on my way to pick Tucker up from school, this is what the sky looked like...the sky opened up and POURED, complete with thunder and lightning the EXACT second they were dismissed!!!!
