Happy Memorial Day!

We went to the parade in the next town over and had a wonderful time1 Love to see all the soldiers!

Every year the motorcyclists in our area ride what is called Pappy's Run, in memory of a man who fought for the right not to wear a bike helmut. It's a pretty big deal around here. We had gone a few years ago when Tucker was 4 and decide to go watch it this year. We packed a lunch ands set up across from the town dump and watched about 1000 bikes go by! It was really fun and a great day for it too!

Tucker's been wanting to check out the new outdoor space at the Children's Museum for awhile! We didn't renew our memebrship because we felt like Tucker had outgrown most of it but with this new outdoor space plus the new stuff they've done inside, we will probably be going more often! He had a great time with this tree fort!

We hung out our hummingbird feeders today...we have two now, one was my uncle's. We used to hang them out every year and somehow skipped last year so they're back out now and we're hoping the hummingbirds will come!

Tucker and I headed to the beach this morning. It was low tide and it was fun to walk out so far! It was overcast at first but then the sun came out. Even overcast, it was nice! He played and I read my book!

Friday nights wouldn't seem right without a baseball game! It's funny how quickly we've adapted to it!

Our cat, Felix, had a vet appointment for his shots. I've always loved this dog statue they have outside the door!

Tucker has really been enjoying playing Catcher and the coach makes sure to put him in for 2 innings a game! I remembered to bring my camera tonight to get a few pictures. He takes it very seriously and has even made a couple of good plays at the plate1

Once again, we had a rainy Tuesday which created mud which meant Tucker just had to go play in it!

Tonight was the perfect night to build a fire so we made s'mores!

Today was a beautiful day so we headed to McCooks Point, a local beach, for a couple of hours. Tucker loves the beach and couldn't wait to dig in the sand and make a castle!

I just had to stop and pull over when I spotted these baby llamas today! I don't think I have ever seen a baby llama and couldn't resist taking a couple pictures-I couldn't decide between the two so I'm posting both!

I actually took this last night when I went in to check on Tucker before I went to bed. He's actually leaning completely on his side!

I stopped at the library on my way home tonight and I've always thought the pond next to it was really nice.

Today was a cloudy day, we're expecting rain tomorrow. I like the color of this maple tree.

I stopped at the cemetery today to leave flowers for my grandmother for Mother's Day and liked the way this road in the cemetery looked!

Happy Mother's Day! I started the day being served French Toast and received a handmade card (and Lego structure) from Tucker! It was a good day!

We had on and off showers and thunderstorms throughtout the day and Tucker couldn't wait to get out into his construction site to go after the puddle!!!
This was actually his second time out when he made MUD and after he took the boots off (note he is barefoot!) He had a blast!

These bright pink flowred caught my eye this morning--they're in our front flower bed.

With all the rain we've had, our flowers are really looking good! These are in our front flower bed and I like them because they're red@

It was a really nice day and I noticed this wall along side the road.

When I got off work today, the sky looked pretty ominous and also kind of cool, at the same time!

We went out for ice cream tonight and I noticed the sun set through the trees on the way there-believe me, the picture does not do it justice!

Not the greatest picture...I couldn't get them to both cooperate! I took Tucker and his firend William out to McDonalds for supper tonight.
