Tucker had baseball pictures tonight. While we waited our turn, he played on the playground. He's getting really good at doing flips on the monkey bars.

I had to do a home visit tonight and I was able to drive by one of my favorite spots---I don't remember the exact story about this stone house but I think it's well over 100 years old and burned to the ground. Obviously the stone didn't burn. I've always thought it was really neat; it sits on top of a hill overlooking fields and woods.

I stopped today to leave flowers on my grandmother's grave and these old stones fascinated me!

I rained on and off most of today and towards the late afternoon, the sun came out. While looking around the yard, I noticed the water drops of the leaves of this plant.

Today was Tucker's first baseball game (they won 10-8). At the end of the game, they line up to give high-fives to the other team.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning so I brought Tucker to school. He was being silly playing on the playground so I took a few pictures!

The rain we've had lately has made the fields so green! This one looked especially nice today, I thought!

Another one of the barns I pass on the way to work---I've wanted to take a picture of this for awhile and this morning I got stuck behind a truck and was finally able to get the right angle!

Michael had divided up a bush last year and this part of has done really well. It's just starting to bloom!

Tucker wanted to be helpful tonight so I asked him to take the recycling out to the curb for pick-up tomorrow morning.

Today my friend Joan and I went to the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury. It had all kinds of interesting things from a collection of buttons to this interesting metal cricket which startled me when I walked into the room!

As much rain as we had a few weeks ago, it's hard to believe we could get more! The last two weeks it has started raining on Friday and and this weekend, it's supposed to go to Sunday. Just in time for the weekend!

We had soccer practice tonight and I noticed the way the stripe of red stands out around one of the goals.

I was standing in my driveway this afternoon, looking up at the buds on the tree tops and thought it would make a neat picture!

I'm back!!! The camera came in Saturday-yahoo!!! These are the beautiful tulips and daffodils in front of our house. Maybe it's all the rain we had but they seem to prettier than usual!

I have managed to break yet another camera by falling up the stairs and landing with the camera face-down, pushing the lens in so now it doesn't focus!
Of course I did this yesterday and panicked with it being Easter today! Thankfully we had some disposable cameras so I used one. I have ordered a new one and hopefully it will be in by the end of the week...until then I won't be posting a daily photo but I will be back as soon as I am able!

Today is Tucker's 8th birthday! He started his day with breakfast in bed and we put the number 8 candle on his french toast!

FINALLY!!!! There really is a sun!! today was beautiful, perfect blue skies and sunny! I noticed the buds on this tree while at the drive-thru at the bank.
