Tucker took this picture of himself this morning when Michael and I weren't moving fast enough for him! He figured he'd get the First Day picture out of the way himself!

Today is Michael's 41st birthday and here Tucker helps him blow out the candles!

I finally got to meet my cousin's twins today! They are 5 months old and just the cutest little things! Chelsea is on the left and Adam is on the right!

August 21

I had all intentions of cooking tonight but baby, it is too darn hot! Tucker and I headed to our favorite pizza place and part of going there involves getting some goodies from the gumball machines!

Somebody was busy last night! When I drove by this field on my way home last night (around 4 pm), the hay had just been cut. When I drove by this morning (around 7:15 am), it looked like this!

I did take this one last night but was so excited to finally get pictures posted to my other blog that I didn't want to risk it!

This is a cat we refer to as "Felix's friend". He's a stray who looks an awful lot like our cat and has been frequenting our yard for about 6 months on and off. We can now get within a couple of feet of him. The only reason I can think of for how his eyes came out like that is the sun was getting ready to go down.

Today was the baby shower for my friend Heather who is expecting her third child, a boy, in October. (She has two other children, Colby who is 8 and one of Tucker's good friends, and Kayleigh who is 5). This is when she opened my present; the bib says "My Mom Rocks!", which I thought was so fitting!

Wjile getting my daily sweet tea from McDonalds (for $1, it's my latest "thing"), I noticed these nice black-eyed susans!

August 10

Yes I took another brief hiatus! We were on vacation last week so now I'm trying to get back in the swing of things!

Tonight we went to Toys R Us to pick out the all-important backpack and lunch box! (the lunch box was free when you bought the backpack!) Tucker picked out GI Joe for both.
